Brett’s journey as an artist has most recently been guided by a passion for animals and a desire to convey their essence through his work. He strives to create work that evokes a sense of connection to the natural world with each brushstroke or mark. 

He is continually exploring and experimenting with the medium; be it with application methods or processes. He enjoys lacing drawing elements throughout his work as drawing is a vital part of his process. With the vibrant acrylics and delicate graphite lines, “I aim to bring each animal to life whether it’s the gentle curiosity of an elk or the graceful strength of a horse I seek to capture each unique character of my subject.”
