Catrinka Randall, Watercolor

Catherine “Catrinka” Randall, a member of the Santa Fe Society of Artists, is a self-taught, award-winning artist who loves painting birds, animals, and pet portraits. Her sensitive animal watercolors can be seen in separate venues in Santa Fe and Vermont. Catrinka was an equestrian for years with her beloved horse Henry, an off-the-track thoroughbred. In 2018 Randall retired from her professorship at Columbia University to begin the next chapter of her life as an artist.

Randall has won several prizes in various exhibitions in New Hampshire for her watercolors. She also has had a one-woman show at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island in 2022. The Carlsbad Museum in New Mexico features her prize-winning painting of cave swallows in its permanent collection. In addition to her American buyers, Catrinka’s patrons include buyers in both Italy and Canada.
