George Ann Johnson
George Ann Johnson, Scratchboard and Colored Pencil
Professionally, George Ann Johnson has been an active artist for over 30 years. Having a strong natural talent, she initially began her art career painting professional race horses to help support her own horse business. This led her into starting her own commercial art company.
After several years of commercial art, she began her fine art career by studying at the Danforth Museum of Fine Art in Boston. Johnson utilized this training as an instructor at East Central University.
Her principal media are scratchboard and colored pencil, and her works are exhibited throughout the United States, including at Two Old Crows gallery in Pagosa Springs.
