Sharon Mantor, Plein Air Paintings

Sharon Mantor is an award winning artist from Durango, CO.  As a studio and plein air painter she specializes in landscapes of the Four Corners area and the southwest.  

Her art education, and attended workshops with well known artists, have spanned many years.  She recently completed a two year mentorship program with Kathryn Stats.

Connection is what Sharon strives for in her work.  The connection she makes with nature and its beauty, Sharon strives to convey this to the viewer in her paintings.  She hopes there’s a connection to both of their souls.  She is a humble student of nature working continually to improve her skills to bring that connection ever closer.
